Nadur Cottage is 1.8km from Leap village or a 15 minute walk through quiet country roads.

Leap is a small and friendly village with a great atmosphere. It has bars that serve food all day, a diner, a waterfall with fairy houses beside, a small convenience store and a renowned live music venue.

There are some quiet and beautifully scenic walks and cycling routes to nearby areas of great beauty such as Drombeg Stone Circle and Dromillihy Woods. Skibbereen and Clonakilty are the two closest towns with a great selection of shops, restaurants and great supermarkets to choose from.

There are farmers markets in Clonakilty on Friday mornings and in Skibbereen on Saturday mornings, all year round.
